CSN Native Butterfly Corridor

Let's Save Our Native Butterflies!

Everglades Champions is an organization that engages students to protect the Everglades by creating a project. We chose to protect the Florida native butterflies by creating a butterfly garden corridor.

There are currently 170 native species of butterflies, but in recent years, they have been threatened and endangered by the destruction of their host and nectar plants. One of the best ways to preserve these butterflies is to plant gardens containing their native host and nectar plants.
